SCHOOL MEALS

School lunches

School meals in East Sussex are provided by Scolarest. From 4th September, the cost of a meal will be £1.83. A vegetarian option is always available. Bread is made fresh each day for the children to have with their meal and a glass of milk is also provided at no extra cost. Fresh chilled water is also available. Drinks such as milk shake and Fairtrade orange juice at 40p and orange and apple cuplets at 27p may be purchased at lunch and at break times. Junior children can also buy orange and apple quarters at 5p each and sultanas at 20p per bag at morning break - tuck money should be brought to school in a separate named purse. If parents would like to pay dinner money for the whole week, this can be sent by cash or cheque (made payable to Compass Services UK Ltd.) at the beginning of the week in an envelope clearly marked with your child's name and class.
